Hola everyone!! it’s been over four months since my last update on wordpress blog. I have been extremely busy with work and everything else that i need to juggle in between. So here.here.here’s the latest news from me =)

Work is always busy, always crazy, it stresses me out sometimes. I have to do all invoice receiving, order processing, troubleshooting, shipping, replying to inquiries, and those miscellaneous time consuming works everyday, all simultaneously. I get use to talking on the phone with customer, guide them with troubleshooting steps, and at the same time processing an incoming order. By the time i get home, i literally feel exhausted. Regardless of all crazy things that happens these days though, I gotta tell you that God is always good and faithful. Anyone who knows me for long or short period of time will probably know that I’m a sanguine. One thing about a sanguine is that they tend to have a short time memory and careless. i don’t know about other sanguinist, but people used to say that i’m ceroboh abis and very forgetful.

Unfortunately, my work requires me to be very detail oriented. Otherwise, the company will be charged for every mistakes that i make during order processing and shipping. On my first week of work, i made like thousands of mistakes. I was just afraid that the trainer gonna hate me for making her went back and forth correcting my mistakes. For the first time ever, I prayed for nearly half an hour every morning before i start to do any work related activities. I even went to sleep thinking about work.. to make the story short: I Love friday night, and hate monday morning. =]

after two months, my supervisor review my performance. the company has three months probation before the employees get hired as permanent full time employee. they called me for a performance review meeting on my second months, and Voila! they decided to end the probation time. He mentioned that I made very less errors, and for that reason he wanted me to work permanently. One thing for sure, I know that it was not me who made things possible. At the first day of work, I know that a sanguine like me will struggle having to be very detailed and neat. but hey, God’s hand is never to short to help His loved ones.

Rio’s birthday was a blast. We went to John Mayer / Colbie Calliat concert at Shoreline amphitheater with Ellyn, Cecep, Irin, Donny, Irin’s brother and sister. The concert was totally awesome!! His voice is a lot better live than on the recorded one. I cant stop listening to his songs on imeem now. =] G.R.E.A.T

Got to celebrate his bday at Gary Danko in San Francisco. The food is sooooo delicioso that people rated the dining experience in yelp.com as “one of a must try before you die”. My favorite was Rio’s foie gras and the lobster maine.

by the way, rio is in New York for a business trip. I wish i can be rolled to go inside his bag and come with him to New York. ah.. what a wishful thinking! Alright, i gotta go to sleep.. It’s not long enough for a four months worth of update yah? ^____^ I’ll write some more next time yah!!

Thank God it’s Friday, people!! Eva is coming to town tomorrow night.. sayang elu ngga nginep, Va.. jadi ga bisa berlama2 gosip sessiong nya.. hehe no worries tho, i’ll visit houston someday.. =) =)

anyways, I’ve been watching Hillary VS Obama debates on youtube, and reading these 2 people biographies all morning.. I used to like Barrack Obama more than Hillary Clinton. but you know what? I started to like Hillary more.. Mrs. Clinton is the first lady to run for US presidency, and was the first First Lady to hold a post graduate degree from Yale and to have her own professional career up to the time of entering the White House (yes, she’s a lawyer), and yes, strikes a pose for Vogue magazines (recognized as fashionable fist lady) =). But what I admire most from Hillary is her strength and loving heart for her family.. she covered too much scandals of her intricate husband with Monica Lewinsky, and even after Bill Clinton admitted to the public for his unfaithful behavior, Hillary still supported him all the way.. In her 2003 memoir, she would attribute her decision to stay married to love: “No one understands me better and no one can make me laugh the way Bill does. Even after all these years, he is still the most interesting, energizing and fully alive person I have ever met.” She is truly a lady of honor =) with all those characters and solid principle of hers, i am convinced that she would be a good candidate for future US president!!

can’t wait til tomorrow.. finally, it’s almost the end of the week. geez, it’s feb 21 already.. the clock is ticking faster and faster, ya?

btw, im up to american idol season 7 nihh.. my fave so far is that cute 16years old boy, David Archuleta and a small and pretty Ramiele Malubay (way to go, gurl!!). cewe2 nya are much more talented and lebih bagus2 yah compare to the guys?? hehe.

dwoh, i’m so excited nih this weekend.. will go to a pijet place with Rio, then i have an appointment with a Japanese hairdresser in the evening before going to the “make up” valentine’s dinner.. hehe. ya ya, he went to taiwan for almost a month.. and accidently promised me to make it up this whole year.. btw say, janji kamu sih went public banget di friendster’s testimonial, so you better fulfill them since you have thousands of witness!! hehehe.

emang kalo Valentine tuh mesti punya pacar yah baru ga sedih? ngga juga sihhh.. Rio is in taiwan for business trip.. so i’m gonna spend feb 14 boyfriend-less.. tapi buat saya when you’re with someone that you really love, everyday is valentine (o.please)

hola everyone! it’s seven days before Christmas.. =) whew, time goes really fasttt.. i still keep my china, new year’07 pics on friendster .. and yet, 2008 is coming in 2 weeks! finally, here it comes the season of joy and peace. I’ve always love love love the atmosphere of Christmas, especially here in the US.. went to sf downtown at the beginning of december, cant resist to take pictures of beautiful union square.

this Christmas is my second xmas here in san francisco, i’ve always managed to go back to indo to celebrate the season with my family.. but due to my opt status that is not valid for re-entry to the US, i have to celebrate it here. not bad not bad.. my christmas eve is going to be with… Jay Chou! hahaha. he’s coming to Los Angeles and will hold a concert titled “Christmas with Jay Chou”, can’t be more excited to see him in person!

I’ll be in LA for 5 days, and come back to sf on christmas day..

and guess what, on the 28 i’ll be flying to new york city to celebrate new year. It’ll be the total of 6 people whom will be going with me.  I’ve seen the itinerary for our 5 days in NYC, and i bet it’s gonna be an unforgettable new year tour. the agenda goes from city tour, central park — skating on serendipity ice ring, Broadway show, times square on new year’s eve, and yes — dining marathons!! my preparation for the holiday: bought a pair of sheepskin boots, wool jacket, and knit hat to match with winter atmosphere in the north east ^___^

ahhh, can’t wait til then, i’ll post tons of pics from my trip.. happy holiday everyone, wishing you an early merry christmas and a beautiful new year!!!

Hola everyone.. how are you?

i know i know, me have been menghilang from blog world.. ha! At last, today i have the willingness to compose words lagi nihh after such a long pause.

where have you been lately? i have been busy.. busy.. busy..

got tons of messages from close friends to hi bye friends to my blog readers to find out kelanjutan cerita of my job hunting.. so sowwie guysss for not updating all of you.. a friend of mine was asking, “teph, gue doa puasa buat loe dapet kerja uda bole berenti blom nihh?” hahaha.

okay, lemme try to update you right from where i left off..

for the first and the foremost, i already got a job (so, all of you yang bantuin doaa.. uda bole brenti and be thankful) haha, and this is my second month of working here.. =) i work as a data analyst for edusoft/riverside publishing.. a company that provides school districts in the US with test prep (scanner, scantron, test software).. and i’m working more to the service side which is analyzing school performance and quality assurance.. so far, my work load is pretty enjoyable. =)

working life is so much different with uni days yahh.. by the time i get home, i’ll be so exhausted.. and that’s truly the reason why i never come online and not updating blog. =(

well well, despite of all hectic work day.. i am super thankful for everything that God has in store for me.. i can tell you how much i depend on Him in every single aspects of life.. and yet, eventho saya nagging abis and cepet give up.. He is still faithfull to show how much He cares and loves me unconditionally.

Saturday nite, 11pm. so sorry for the late update, and thank you for eVa, reggy, siska, mr.sinatra, and the rest of the people for reminding me to update my neglected blog. So yea, here i am!! i dont have school and work anymore (yay!), but seriously, job-less is 200% more stressful than school days.. sitting in front of my laptop everyday, starring at job postings on several websites.. huh, sooo boringg and frustating.. believe it or not, i miss my uni days!! It’s been 2 weeks of me kirim kirim resumes to so many companies (i lost count already!), and im so tired of job hunting. people told me that they need 3 months til they really got their current job. i was like, You gotta be kidding, rite? if 2 weeks gives me 8 pimples and reduces 3 pounds due to excessive stress level, 3 months would definitely make me look like a skinny twiggy tiny model (yea rite!), if not a drug addict.

but yea, after a week i finally found a better way to search for jobs.. that is to stick with one website, and keep on reloading the website every hour to see if there are new job postings and send my resume right away to the company. as the result, on that day, i got calls from 3 companies to schedule for an interview.. still, long way to go!! So, my first interview was with Kaplan.. when i looked at the job descriptions, i thought that i applied for a marketing executive position. In marketing, i believe that you have to “sell” your self more than just giving good answer. So i prepared myself with just so much of “tell me about yourself” and “what can you contribute to our company” question.. but i was so wrong, the position that i applied for was an associate director position, and none of these questiongs were on the list. my first question for the HR was, “in the future, if i perform well in your company, what is the position lead to?” and she told me that, “yes, if you get promoted, you’ll be our director.” muahahahhaa. at that moment i knew that i was screwed. The question was a little tougher than what i thought, and i didnt prepare well enough for an associate director position. i did it so badly, and at the end of the interview i cant stop myself from laughing, laughing abiss for my “so unprepared answers”. (so, even before the result come out, let’s turn that one down).

huah, i better be prepare for my next interviews. This monday, I have a face to face interview with Forbes magazine in the morning and javelin research in the afternoon. my preparation? number uno: Just got back from valley fair buying my new suit with Bule (thank you so muchh, Le dah ditemeninn).. number deux: im starring at both Forbes.com and javelin website to gain just as much information about the companies. and of course, pray hard!! everyone, please pray for me yaah!!

so this is the introduction of my new phase of life.. the sequel is coming up yah on Monday.
