seize thy moments

Frankly speaking, I love making friends as much as I hate saying goodbye…
The other day, my dear friend Ling ling, went back home for good to Indo… at this moment, as I’m writing this, I’ll still be able to sense the sad feeling within… you know, rasanya sama kaya ditinggal pacar.. heahuahuhea.. Airports have been my favorite place to cry, to laugh, to share every bits of the last memory before somebody takes off to another chapter in their life.
In fact, I am beginning to bear with the feeling of being separated when your friend has to pursue their dreams and new life…
Thru Practical training for life, i’ve been learning to encounter the sadness.. when I was in es-em-pe, my closest friend at the very moment, ucaiy, was leaving to Perth. I cried for a month straight.. then the next year, my [quote"e] soulmate, Nana, left me for Atlanta… I cried for 2 months… you know when they’re so called “best pal for life” for you, its just so tough to be apart…
And then it was me leaving Indo… I left all my closest friends, siska, veni, reggy, demay, lilly, lina. Those days on the aiport when we were crying ampe airports banjir.. haha.
Not to mention the sad feeling when I have to leave thee sweetheart in indo…
Well… as I’m living in the country of America, a commuter place, where people come and go.. Eventually, I’ve endured so much that it’s a numb feeling for me to be apart…
I once thought that the closer we are to our friend, the sadder (i wonder if this word exist) it is to let go… but I never get tired of making friendships..,getiing closer and closer with em..
Besides, friends are not those who are close to the eyes … but to the heart…
Good thing about it tho’, all my life, I have learned to seize the moment with my love ones…
I found them to be super precious, say : the good old deiz nyubuh” in waffle house with nana and vanda.. bisa jadi extremely seruu bangett.. padahal tempat nya super butut.. or those ihop nights with ling”.. The place boleh jadi very ordinary, but sharing times become so unforgettable when you are with a good company…
Those cheesy, lavvii davvii movies jadi berasa 100 times more romantic when I got to watch em with my sweetheart… as soon as he holds my hand throughout the movie…. I can feel butterflies inside my tummy.. (jadi sebenernya kita nonton film apa bikin cerita sendiri??) hahaha..
I’m so exaggerated… but the point is… when we are with a good company… everything feels better..

o well… as for me and my long distance friends… prior to our departure.. We usually would say bunch of promises to get together again, words of thank you, prayers, and wishes that most of the time have become my strength to carry on this journey…
